About this role
A Computational Postdoctoral Fellow position at the Wellcome Sanger Institute within the Genomics of Inflammation and Immunity group to analyse large-scale long-read single-cell transcriptomic data from inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients and controls. The 3-year fixed-term fellowship supports research into isoform usage and alternative splicing to uncover disease mechanisms and inform drug target discovery. The role is embedded in a multidisciplinary environment with opportunities for collaboration with academic and pharmaceutical partners.
