About this role

The Yang Lab in the Department of Surgery at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join its translational research team. The role focuses on understanding the novel functions of fusion transcriptional factors in rhabdomyosarcoma using cutting-edge genetic, epigenetic, cellular, and pharmacologic tools. This highly mechanistic and translational work aims to inform better therapies using human and genetic models.

Responsibilities

Design and conduct experiments investigating chimeric transcriptional factor mechanisms
Evaluate preclinical efficacy of immunomodulators and underlying mechanisms
Present findings at meetings and contribute to manuscript and grant preparation
