Carnegie Science
Carnegie Science’s Earth and Planets Laboratory is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to discover and control metastable materials using novel pressure-temperature processing pathways. The role focuses on developing experimental strategies to access, quench, and stabilize metastable phases to optimize functional properties like superconductivity. The successful candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of chemists, physicists, and materials scientists to investigate emergent properties and develop new synthesis approaches.
