Postdoctoral Research Associate

The Postdoctoral Research Associate will work with Dr. Pourya Valizadeh on U.S. domestic food policy research, utilizing large transaction-level food purchase data and advanced machine learning and causal inference methods. The role involves evaluating SNAP purchase restrictions and studying how various food policies impact household purchases of ultra-processed foods. The position requires cleaning and analyzing data, writing journal articles, presenting findings, and collaborating with the research team on grant reports and proposals.
