About this role

A postdoctoral research position is available in the newly established Campello Laboratory at UT Southwestern Medical Center to lead computational and systems biology approaches for studying retinal aging and age-related retinal diseases. The role involves integrating large-scale multi-omics datasets with experimental models to uncover mechanisms of retinal aging and identify biomarkers and therapeutic targets. The successful candidate will help establish the laboratory’s computational biology program and collaborate with experimental scientists to develop innovative computational approaches.

Responsibilities

Lead development of computational and systems biology approaches for studying retinal aging
Integrate diverse molecular datasets including genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics
Apply systems-level approaches to uncover molecular networks and identify therapeutic targets
