About this role

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will work under the direction of Dr. Mary-Ellen Taplin, MD, collaborating with faculty in DFCI GU Medical Oncology to support projects involving a GU pathologist. The role focuses on prostate, bladder, kidney, and testis cancer, with a strong emphasis on clinical and translational investigations in genitourinary oncology. The fellow will contribute to pathology-focused translational research efforts in GU Oncology trials, including novel treatment strategies, biomarker development, and mechanisms of response and resistance in cancer.

Responsibilities

Conduct pathology-focused translational research in GU malignancies
Analyze tissue specimens and correlate pathologic findings with molecular data
Collaborate with clinicians and pathologists on ongoing research studies
