About this role
A postdoctoral research fellow at the Africa Health Research Institute will join the cure team to study how HIV-specific CD8+ T cells interact with persistent viral reservoirs in human lymphoid tissues. The role focuses on investigating immune responses in immune-privileged sites such as lymph node B cell follicles and gut-associated lymphoid tissue using advanced spatial transcriptomics and single-cell technologies. The fellow will contribute to translational HIV cure research within a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.
