Postdoctoral Research Fellow

The Nakamura Laboratory at Cincinnati Children's is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join a newly funded NIH R01 project investigating how obesity-associated metabolic stress alters liver-derived small extracellular vesicles and their impact on macrophage inflammatory responses. This collaborative role spans Endocrinology and Critical Care Medicine, integrating mechanistic and translational research to examine systemic inflammation and organ injury during sepsis. The position offers opportunities to work across diverse models, including mouse studies, human iPSC-derived cells, and biospecimens, while developing skills in experimental design and independent scientific inquiry.
