Postdoctoral Research Fellow

The Upham group at the University of British Columbia is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to develop a tandem catalytic process that converts syngas to oxymethylene ethers (OMEs) for sustainable aviation fuels. The role involves synthesizing, characterizing, and testing new catalysts, designing and operating flow reactors, and analyzing reaction products to establish performance metrics for process evaluation and scale-up. The successful candidate will join a collaborative research team and contribute to publications and student supervision.
