Postdoctoral Research Scholar

The Postdoctoral Research Scholar position at the San Francisco VA Health Care System, affiliated with UCSF and supported by NCIRE, offers a two-year training program for clinical and translational researchers in PTSD, trauma, sleep, and fear learning. Fellows will engage in mechanism-informed research, including pharmacologically augmented psychotherapies and experimental paradigms of fear learning and extinction. The role involves designing and executing research studies, analyzing data, writing publications, and contributing to grant development. Clinically trained fellows may also participate in supervised clinical assessment and psychotherapy.
