Postdoctoral Research Scientist, OAE Process-Model Testbed

This is a postdoctoral research position developing a one-dimensional testbed to study ocean alkalinity enhancement (OAE) processes within the C-Star modeling system. The role involves creating parameterizations for biogeochemical reactions, conducting numerical experiments to characterize uncertainty, and integrating these findings into regional three-dimensional ocean models like ROMS-MARBL. The scientist will collaborate closely with industry partners to validate models against empirical data and advance open-source decision-support tools for carbon dioxide removal.
