About this role
The Terra D2I (Data To Insights) lab at CUNY New York City College of Technology seeks a postdoctoral researcher to join a Simons Foundation–funded project focused on reconstructing the global surface ocean pCO2 field from sparse observations. The role centers on leveraging satellite-derived features and advanced quantitative methods to generate full spatio-temporal reconstructions and improve robustness to distribution shift. The appointment is full-time, renewable up to three years, with an expected start between January and March 2026.
