Postdoctoral Researcher

The Curious Beams Lab at Delft University of Technology is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to lead the instrumentation development for the BEAMSurf project, an ERC Starting Grant initiative focused on creating a novel scanning electron microscope for diffractive atomic-scale surface imaging. The role involves taking technical and scientific ownership of the instrument development, from electron-optical design through to fabrication, integration, and experimental demonstration. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with PhD candidates and the project lead to establish high-resolution surface imaging capabilities at low electron energies.
