The University of Edinburgh
The University of Edinburgh is seeking an enthusiastic cell biologist to join the research team as a postdoctoral researcher, funded by an ERC Advanced Grant. The role focuses on investigating the epigenetic regulation of stem and progenitor cells in growth and ageing, specifically addressing mechanisms that control tissue cellularity and epigenetic ageing in mammals. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team in the lab of Prof. Andrew Jackson FRS, utilizing stem cell culture systems, targeted epigenomic engineering, CRISPR barcoding, and mouse models to define mechanisms connecting DNA methylation to stem cell output and tissue regeneration.
