The Dacks Lab at the University of Alberta is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to investigate the pre-LECA evolution of adaptin protein complexes using Ancestral Protein Reconstruction and the model organism Dictyostelium discoideum. This hybrid role combines bioinformatics and experimental evolutionary cell biology to uncover how early vesicular trafficking machinery evolved.
