Postdoctoral Scholar

The Postdoctoral Scholar will join the BFF-AFIRMS project to work on bioinformatics, lodgepole pine genome assembly, and comparative and population genomics for conifer genomes. The role involves applying extensive knowledge to perform complex research activities under the Principal Investigator's direction, including characterizing adaptive elements across pine and spruce genomes and evaluating selection signatures of genomic variants. The position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop visualizations for genomic knowledge and tree improvement decisions.
