Power BI Developer

A Power BI Developer at AIR’s Tek Office is responsible for designing, developing, and managing Power BI solutions, including semantic models, dashboards, and reports, across multiple business domains and the enterprise. They collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into user stories, data definitions, and reporting patterns. The developer models data using dimensional best practices and writes optimized DAX for performant, maintainable analytics. They build and maintain ingestion and transformation workflows (Power Query/M, SQL, and Fabric) to integrate data from Dynamics 365 and other sources. They leverage Microsoft Fabric to implement scalable and secure data storage, processing, and semantic model strategies. They own operational excellence for BI solutions, including refresh reliability, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. They implement and maintain security and governance practices, support a healthy delivery process, mentor junior BI developers, and stay current with Microsoft analytics platform capabilities.
