About this role

The Power Developer role at Intersect drives the strategy, commercial structuring, and development execution of utility-scale wind, solar, storage, natural gas, and load projects across key energy markets. This position involves owning projects throughout their full lifecycle, from early-stage strategy through construction handover, by managing project economics and negotiating critical commercial agreements. The role requires partnering with internal subject matter experts and external stakeholders to solve complex development challenges and deliver high-impact assets.

Responsibilities

Lead utility-scale wind, solar, storage, natural gas, and load projects through every stage of development
Own comprehensive financial and valuation models in Excel to evaluate project economics and M&A transaction structures
Coordinate multidisciplinary SME teams to keep complex development pipelines on schedule and manage project budgets
