Power Plant Mechanic

The Power Plant Mechanic will work in the University of Washington Central Power Plant and West CUP facility, maintaining and repairing complex mechanical systems that provide steam, chilled water, and emergency power. This role involves performing journey-level mechanical work on high-capacity boilers, turbines, pumps, and other plant equipment while ensuring safe operations and responding to emergencies. The position requires a strong background in machinery repair, pipefitting, and power plant operations within a diverse, safety-focused environment.
