Power Plant Operator

The Power Plant Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and economic operation of the 417MW Safe Harbor Hydro-Electric Generating Station and Dam. This role involves operating high-voltage switching equipment, managing generator and transformer systems, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory standards for water and wastewater treatment. The position requires 24/7 shift availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support continuous station operations and emergency response.
