Power Systems Engineer

Boom Supersonic is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to lead the end-to-end electrical design of a 13.8kV medium-voltage system for its Superpower industrial gas turbine, purpose-built for next-generation AI data centers. The role involves defining the MV architecture, protection philosophy, and coordination studies while ensuring the system can operate reliably in islanded mode without grid support. This position requires hands-on experience with medium-voltage systems, rotating machinery, and protection relaying to oversee everything from preliminary design through first energization and field commissioning.
