The Pre-Award Research Specialist supports the University of Chicago’s effort to secure external research and training funding by managing institutional proposal endorsement and review within University Research Administration’s Pre-Award Services. The role interfaces with faculty, administrative staff, external sponsors, and other institutional offices to facilitate proposal submissions and related institutional actions. It serves as a point of contact for sponsor interactions and helps ensure proposals align with university policies and sponsor terms.
