About this role

The Preconstruction Manager oversees all aspects of preconstruction coordination, including development, design, budgeting, estimating, and schedule management for construction projects. This role acts as a key administrator supporting development departments by coordinating procurement, performing cost evaluations, and ensuring project plans align with engineering and budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the design process for individual construction projects
Prepare and direct responsibility for conceptual budgets and estimates
Establish aggressive construction schedules and monitor progress closely
Solicit bids and estimates from subcontractors and suppliers
Coordinate a variety of outside consultants including engineering and legal
