About this role

The Operating Room Preference Card Analyst ensures accurate and timely maintenance of physician surgical needs by creating and managing surgical preference cards. This role maintains operating room efficiency, tracks procedure costs, reduces product waste, and develops systems to manage preference card data across medical and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

Build and import preference card data into the Epic system for surgical departments.
Establish and update preference cards with pick lists and surgeon preferences.
Review and update preference cards to reflect current procedural information.
Facilitate quarterly clinician reviews to verify clinical accuracy of cards.
Execute case pick lists and reports from Epic to ensure data integrity.

Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology ProgramGraduate of a Military Surgical Technology Training ProgramBasic Life Support (BLS) CertificationCertified Surgical Technologist (CST)Associate degree in Surgical Technology
