Preschool Teacher

The Preschool Teacher ensures a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for preschool-age children while planning and implementing a curriculum aligned with Head Start Performance Standards. The role involves individualizing instruction based on observations and assessments, conducting developmental screenings, and maintaining accurate records to support each child's learning and well-being. Teachers also communicate regularly with families, promote healthy practices, and collaborate with education and health staff to meet children's needs.
