Preschool Teacher

The Preschool Teacher ensures a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for preschool-age children while planning and implementing a curriculum aligned with Head Start Performance Standards. The role involves individualizing instruction based on observations and assessments, conducting developmental screenings, and maintaining accurate records to support children's cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development. Additionally, the teacher communicates regularly with families, promotes healthy practices, and provides leadership and coaching to classroom staff and volunteers.
