Youngstown Area Jewish Federation
The Preschool Teacher contributes to the mission and values of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation by instructing preschool-aged children in activities that promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. The role involves maintaining a safe and caring classroom environment while implementing innovative lesson plans aligned with Early Learning and Development Standards. This position requires close collaboration with parents, guardians, and co-teachers to ensure each child's well-being and development.
Youngstown Area Jewish Federation is the central philanthropic and community-building organization serving the Jewish community in the Youngstown, Ohio area. It raises and manages funds through its foundation to support local programs and services — including Jewish Family & Community Services, the JCC, Akiva Academy, senior living, JMeals, and cemetery care — and coordinates community events, education, and advocacy through its JCRC. The Federation publishes strategic plans and annual reports, maintains a community calendar of events, and provides easy ways for donors and residents to give, volunteer, and connect.
