About this role

As a Principal Additive Manufacturing Process Engineer at RTX's Additive Manufacturing Process and Capability Center, you will lead process development to improve print capability, speed, and material performance for advanced aerospace and defense products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to support AM qualification efforts, develop technical proposals, and resolve complex machine and process issues.

Responsibilities

Lead process development to improve print capability and reduce cost
Support AM Qualification efforts utilizing IQ, OQ, and MQ standards
Develop advanced tools to characterize machines and process space
Collaborate with partners to develop responsive technical proposals
Conduct Root Cause Corrective Action activities on build failures
