Principal Advisor

The Principal Advisor role supports Houkura – Independent Māori Statutory Board in delivering its work programme and fulfilling its legislative purpose. The position involves advocating for and influencing council policies, submissions, investments, and projects related to the Schedule of Issues of Significance to Māori. The role requires building strong relationships across the Auckland Council Group, central government, and Māori communities to ensure Māori perspectives inform decisions affecting Tāmaki Makaurau.
