About this role

The Principal, AI Governance is a senior individual contributor responsible for establishing and driving the enterprise AI governance framework across the organization. This role serves as the internal authority on responsible AI practices, policy, risk, and data governance, partnering closely with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Data, and business leaders to ensure AI systems are developed and deployed in a transparent, ethical, and compliant manner.

Responsibilities

Design and evolve the enterprise AI governance framework
Serve as subject matter expert on AI risk and ethics
Extend data governance practices to cover AI-specific requirements
Establish centralized AI use case inventory with risk classification
Conduct risk assessments for new and existing AI solutions

Skills

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in data governance, risk management, or compliance4+ years focused on AI/MLExperience in regulated industry, preferably financial servicesStrong knowledge of AI regulatory and ethics frameworksProficiency with SQL and database management
