Principal Architect, Employee Enablement

The Principal Architect, Employee Enablement defines and governs the architecture vision, strategy, and standards for the technology portfolio that enables how McKesson employees get work done, find help, and access services. The role translates business strategy into a unified employee experience, moving the organization from a collection of platforms and intake paths to an integrated, AI-enabled ecosystem that simplifies work, improves service delivery, and increases self-service. It guides the Employee Enablement team through enterprise architecture reviews, responsible AI use boards, security and privacy reviews, and investment trade-off decisions. The role sets architecture principles, resolves precedent-setting technical challenges, advises senior leaders on risk and options, mentors architects and engineering teams, and ensures employee-facing solutions are practical, scalable, secure, and aligned to how work should get done.
