About this role
The Principal City Planner will lead implementation of improvements to the Denver Zoning Code and Urban Design Standards and Guidelines, focusing on streamlining regulations to increase housing affordability and improve design outcomes. The role oversees comprehensive analysis and review of development regulations and processes that impact entitlements, with a priority on affordable housing across city agencies. This position manages HUD-funded PRO Housing grant activities and coordinates cross-departmental and external stakeholder collaboration to deliver regulatory and procedural changes.

Qualifications
