About this role

A Principal Consultant – Data at Capco leads the data-quality stream for global banking clients, managing the adoption of centralized metadata inventories to ensure BCBS239 compliance. The role involves directly line-managing a multi-disciplinary team of over eight direct reports while engaging with senior stakeholders across business lines to drive digital transformation and regulatory readiness. Key duties include designing Power BI dashboards, establishing governance forums, and translating complex data concepts into implementable controls for critical data elements.

Responsibilities

Directly line-manage and mentor a core stream team of five or more direct reports
Lead the delivery of CDE metadata and data-quality control documentation globally
Engage and negotiate with CDOs and senior stakeholders to secure regulatory commitments
Design and build Power BI dashboards for progress monitoring and regulatory reporting
Establish governance forums and remediation processes for data quality and risk assurance
