About this role

The Principal Cryogenic Systems Engineer is a hands-on technical expert responsible for the design, analysis, and performance of VEIR’s cryogenic cooling systems for HTS cable platforms. The role focuses on driving technical execution across development, testing, and early deployments, working closely with system integration, heat transfer, superconducting systems, electrical, and controls engineers. This position emphasizes technical depth and problem-solving rather than people management, owning complex cryogenic challenges from concept through validation.
