The Principal Digital Architect for Data establishes the foundational data architecture enabling Physical AI and autonomous systems at Caterpillar. This role defines data domains, canonical models, and products that transform massive volumes of jobsite and sensor data into trusted assets for AI development and operations. Working across the intersection of data, AI, and digital twins, the architect provides technical leadership to ensure scalable, reusable data solutions for engineering teams.
