About this role

As a Principal Developer Relations Engineer at Workday, you will serve as a senior technical leader bridging the developer platform with diverse communities to enable the shift toward agentic solutions and AI-driven workflows. The role involves running Early Adopter programs, creating technical samples and demos for features like the Developer Agent, and guiding the developer ecosystem in adopting new AI tooling and open development models. You will work closely with product teams, sales, and customer-facing teams to ensure developers have the knowledge and resources to build successful solutions on the Workday platform.

Responsibilities

Enable forward deployed engineers to sell and position emerging AI platform capabilities strategically.
Run and support Early Adopter programs for new product features across engineering teams.
Build and maintain high-quality technical samples, frameworks, and demos showcasing platform features.
Create guided activities and hands-on content for conferences and developer forums.
Lead enablement sessions for sales and customer-facing teams to drive platform adoption.
