Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal Digital Electrical Engineer to lead the complete digital design of Printed Wiring Boards (PCBs) for communications products. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams including Layout, Systems, Mechanical, and Software engineers to ensure requirements are met and deliver design documentation. Success requires proficiency in digital/mixed-signal circuit design, high-speed Circuit Card Assemblies, and adherence to strict design processes.

Responsibilities

Design digital circuit cards from inception through layout and assembly
Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to meet design requirements
Perform timing, power, and signal integrity analyses on designs
Generate full databases and drawings for PWB/CCA construction
Produce comprehensive design documentation including test requirements
