About this role

Blue Origin is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to serve as the technical authority for the mixed-signal and compute electronics driving the optical inter-satellite link (OISL) payload. This role involves owning the architecture, design, and verification of hardware that integrates precision analog circuitry with high-performance digital compute to support space-based connectivity. The engineer will lead technical direction, mentor team members, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop flight-qualified electronics for the TeraWave satellite network.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and design of mixed-signal electronics for optical inter-satellite link payload
Direct signal integrity and power integrity analysis for high-speed digital interfaces
Mentor engineers and guide development of flight software and FPGA logic
