About this role

Astera Labs is seeking a Principal Engineer in its Signal Connectivity Engineering group to shape firmware architectures for its analog connectivity products powering AI infrastructure. The role centers on end-to-end software ownership—from pre-silicon planning through production deployment and field support—that bridges analog design and software intelligence. This remote position is based in the Ottawa area with occasional travel to the San Jose headquarters, and offers the opportunity to build and lead a technical team in a fast-moving startup.
