Principal Energetic Engineer/Sr. Principal Energetic Engineer – Level 3 or Level 4 at Northrop Grumman's Space Sector in Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral, FL. This role involves working on Thrust Vector Control system processing for NASA’s Space Launch System Solid Rocket Booster flight vehicle, including refurbishment, assembly, and testing of aerospace components.

Responsibilities

Generate and update electronic planning for hardware refurbishment, testing, and production support equipment maintenance
Perform component acceptance testing and troubleshooting, when necessary, along with operations team
Evaluate test data to ensure characteristics fall within established specifications and maintain records of testing results
Disposition non-conforming material/components through Material Review Board (MRB) process
Support all phases of refurbishment process including disassembly, inspection, cleaning, assembly, and dynamic acceptance tests
