Principal Engineer for Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT)

The Principal Engineer for Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) at Blue Origin will define and maintain the timing and synchronization architecture for the TeraWave satellite constellation while spearheading the development of resilient PNT methods for constellation operations. This hands-on role involves writing estimation algorithms, building simulation frameworks, and conducting architectural trades to ensure the system can determine and maintain satellite position, velocity, and timing with the required accuracy and robustness. The position serves as the first dedicated PNT hire within the Chief Systems Architecture office, establishing the technical foundation and defining the approach for a future focused team.
