About this role

Amentum is seeking a Principal Engineering Geologist or Geotechnical Engineer to lead ground engineering activities across diverse projects in the Defence, Nuclear, Environment, and government sectors. The role involves managing ground investigations, performing geotechnical analysis and design, and providing technical assurance and mentoring to junior colleagues. This position offers a flexible hybrid working environment with a preferred base in Harwell, Oxfordshire.

Responsibilities

Lead geotechnical and engineering geological desk studies and ground risk assessments
Plan and deliver land and overwater ground investigations and site work
Perform geotechnical analysis and design for foundations and slope stabilisation

Skills

Qualifications
