About this role
A Principal Hydrologist at UKCEH will lead field hydrology research within the Water and Climate Science group, helping to shape the scientific direction of flood and drought studies and contribute to the Floods & Droughts Research Infrastructure (FDRI) observatory. The role focuses on developing a research portfolio in process hydrology and geomorphology, collaborating with national and international partners, and representing UKCEH externally. The position is permanent and offered on a hybrid (50/50) basis, based in Wallingford with alternative locations in Lancaster, Edinburgh or Bangor.
