As a Principal Machine Learning Engineer, this role leads the ShortForm & Video Intelligence pod to automate the transformation of long-form content into engaging short-form assets. The position involves architecting multi-modal models for video safety analysis, narrative comprehension, and spoiler detection to optimize content for platforms like Paramount+. You will manage high-performing technical teams while scaling robust computer vision and audio classifiers for petabyte-scale video processing workflows.

Responsibilities

Lead the ShortForm pod and define the technical roadmap for automated clip generation.
Architect and deploy multi-modal models synthesizing video, audio, and text signals.
Develop and scale robust classifiers for nudity, profanity, and sensitive content detection.
Build AI models to identify narrative hooks, climax points, and story arcs.
Integrate intelligence layers into petabyte-scale video processing workflows.
