About this role

This role leads the technical strategy for AI and Machine Learning systems powering recommendations, ranking, and personalization across Bumble's products. The incumbent designs, develops, and deploys production-grade models and AI Agents using frameworks like PyTorch and LLMs while architecting scalable ML pipelines. They drive experimentation frameworks, partner cross-functionally to translate business challenges into ML solutions, and mentor senior individual contributors to foster a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

Define and lead technical strategy for AI and ML systems powering product recommendations
Design, develop, and deploy production-grade models using modern ML frameworks
Build and deploy production AI Agents using fine-tuned foundational LLMs
Architect end-to-end ML pipelines integrating data processing with model workflows
Drive experimentation frameworks including A/B testing to improve model performance
