About this role

The Principal Oracle Database Administrator is responsible for installing, maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting Oracle database environments across physical and virtualized systems. This high-visibility role ensures system stability, performance, and security while collaborating with product support, development teams, and onsite government or contractor personnel. The position requires a self-starter who can independently support medium-to-large-scale Oracle database deployments and communicate effectively with customers and management.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain Oracle 19c databases and RHEL 8.x operating systems
Monitor and troubleshoot database performance using AWR reports and diagnostic tools
Remediate security vulnerabilities and apply firmware updates on enterprise hardware

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber SecurityTS/SCI with FS PolygraphDoD-approved 8570 baseline certification at IAT Level II or higher
