About this role
The Principal Ranger leads a team to protect and restore the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park, supporting implementation of the Hauraki Gulf / Tīkapa Moana Marine Protection Act. This is a 12-month fixed-term/secondment based in Auckland, Warkworth or Whitianga and involves operational fieldwork and travel. The role reports to the Operations Manager and focuses on building marine protection capability and delivering conservation outcomes.
