About this role

Blue Origin is seeking a Principal RF/mmWave IC Layout Design Engineer to lead the physical implementation and top-level integration of advanced RF/mmWave integrated circuits for satellite communications and space-based connectivity systems. The role involves driving custom layout for high-performance RF, analog, and mixed-signal ICs used in payloads and next-generation communication systems. This position requires deep technical expertise in RF/mmWave layout, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to mentor contributors while coordinating execution across internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

Lead physical design and implementation of state-of-the-art RF/mmWave ICs
Drive block-to-top integration including floorplanning and signal routing
Perform physical verification and debug DRC LVS and ERC sign-off

Skills

Qualifications

B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
