Principal Security Engineer, Operations

This role involves building and leading the security monitoring, detection, automation, and response capabilities for Microsoft AI, establishing a new security function rather than administering an existing one. The position requires defining security-observability strategies, engineering detection and response platforms, and creating AI-native security operations with continuous evaluators and agents. The engineer will set technical direction, build production systems, and mentor teams to ensure Microsoft AI's operational systems are secure and resilient.
