About this role

A Senior Front-End Compiler Engineer leads the design and development of scalable AI/ML model conversion pipelines at NXP Semiconductors' Kinara Group. The role focuses on translating models from major frameworks into an internal Intermediate Representation using advanced graph-based optimization and compiler design expertise. The successful candidate will drive technical leadership, collaborate across backend and hardware teams, and enable support for modern architectures like Transformers and LLMs.

Responsibilities

Design and develop compiler front-end architecture and model conversion frameworks
Build and maintain Python-based converters for ONNX, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
Implement graph construction, transformation, and optimization pipelines
Provide technical leadership and mentor senior engineering teams
Debug and resolve complex issues across model conversion and optimization stages
